Brassington Local Environment Group

The Local Environment Working Group focuses on protecting, conserving and enhancing Brassington’s unique environment. Over the last year the Group has organised community litterpicks, planned the renovation of the Village Pond, worked on a Village Design Guide, and taken action on a range of other issues such as measures to encourage cycling and walking and increasing traffic safety. The Group is now at the point where it is establishing itself as an independent community organisation, which will enable it to secure funds more easily to undertake future projects. The Launch Meeting is at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 12 October 2016 in Brassington Village Hall, and all are welcome to attend.
